Welcome to the year 2020! Where we have phones, tablets and AirPods. Wear watches made by the Tech Giants, and have Smart Home devices in every floor of our houses. We're on 7 different social media platforms, talking (really just texting) to 10 people in 1 minute and are ALWAYS on the hunt for the next thing. If that wasn't obvious already.
We are completely immersed in a world of technology and social media and it's been growing faster than most people can keep up with. Our phones and computers have turned into something people used to only have 1 of in the whole neighbourhood or school, to a product so potent, we have multiple's of them for different purposes. Your school laptop, and your home computer. Your work phone, your personal cell phone and your home phone.
I'm sure you know all this already but do you understand it? Because I have a hard time believing you do. Some people think if you know better, you do better, but I've known Coke, Deep Fried Wings and Pizza aren't the best for you, but heck they're a staple in my diet.
I want to address the business owners out there. Especially, the local business owners. 2020, what year huh? I'm confident to say that this whole situation with COVID-19 was the last thing anyone saw coming, or knew the repercussions it would have on their business and life. I've heard many stories of people I know personally who had to close up shop and find different ways to make ends meet. Tossing aside their dreams because things were just too scary not to. Fair enough, times have been tough, I'm not writing this to say otherwise, nor am I writing this to tell you I have your cookie cutter solution. I don't. Neither does anybody else.
What I do have, is an Ultimatum. One for myself and the business we run here at NextGen Media. You see, we are a local Digital Marketing Company looking to truly serve businesses in the Greater Toronto Area.
